The crimson eyes of the girl before you stare at you with a cold and calculating look a moment before the katana in her hands digs into your flesh. It is just a scratch. And then a sharp pain engulfs your body as if it were on fire. A moment later, and even the pain begins to fade as the world goes black and all sound deafens. The girl stands over your lifeless body with the same cold stare.

“Eliminated” she says, her voice free of any emotion.

Trained from a young age, Akame is one of the world’s best assassins. She goes after her targets with a detached and merciless composition. Her sword is a special weapon that injects anybody it cuts with a fast acting and fatal poison. Many of her targets believed themselves harmlessly cut before dying painfully moments later.

But when surrounded with her assassin companions, Akame is far from the cold and merciless killer she is on the battlefield. Behind the cold façade, she is a socially awkward, yet caring person who cares deeply about the wellbeing of her comrades. Seemingly always hungry, she loves food, especially meat. Since Akame can be a bit of an airhead, most would find it hard to believe that the same girl is responsible for the deaths of countless people.

But, well, she is. She has her reasons.
