The same boy who was making a cool pose and making the girls swoon with his words a moment ago is now sitting in a corner in regret and getting embarrassed about what he just said.

To those who do not know him, Mikoshiba Mikoto is that handsome-looking guy everyone would like to befriend. His warm smile and his outgoing personality always help him keep a conversation going. He is the kind of guy who can brighten up any day and provide people with good laughter and cheer.

Those who know him better realize that a majority of his personality is an act, as the real Mikoto is actually really awkward around people. The act is more of a defense mechanism than something he does consciously, as he does not know how to properly respond to certain situations. Manga is his main source of knowledge on how to end a conversation quickly, even if it means getting himself in unforeseen trouble.

Acting or not, Mikoto’s characteristics remain the same. He is a keen listener and always a great help. He also happens to be the main protagonist of his friend's manga. It is surely worth it to understand both sides of Mikoto's heart while getting closer to him as a friend.
